At Maverick Combatives, we’re dedicated to providing expert training and ongoing support in all aspects of Krav Maga, empowering students to unlock their full potential through practical self-defence skills. Founded by Russell Sharpe, a 2nd-degree black belt under Ronin Krav Maga and a Level One Urban Combatives instructor, Maverick Combatives is built on a foundation of excellence and experience. Russell has trained with some of the most respected instructors across the UK and Europe, bringing back advanced techniques and insights to the South West.

Our sessions are held in a friendly, welcoming environment, prioritising both safety and skill. Here, you’ll build confidence, improve fitness, and develop powerful self-defence techniques alongside like-minded individuals. Maverick Combatives is committed to professionalism and safety; all instructors are fully DBS checked, first aid trained, and hold safeguarding and SENCO certification, ensuring that every student can train confidently in a supportive setting.
